I will miss him every day.
I know a man who journeyed here and humbly sought to find
the pathway best to emulate the Savior of mankind
Across the highways of this world, through lives his steps were charted
the marks left as he passed we found still filled when he departed
Instead of vain and empty prints in each place that he trod
remains a vine of living fruit, a testament to God
Seeds sown by service, warmth, a smile, a thoughtful word of comfort
I am so grateful he was here, for he helped me to see
His arms outstretched, the Lord entreats, come thou and follow me
In grateful and loving memory of my father--
