Germany Part 2

Dresden

Dresden is on the Elbe River.
It is referred to as the Florence of Germany.
 Frauenkirche
Zwinger Palace
Procession of Princes
World's largest porcelain mural
1000 years of princes and dukes depicted
330 feet long

We stayed with our German friends,

the Menzels
who live about 20 minutes outside of Dresden.
What an incredibly beautiful drive from their home!
They were wonderful hosts -
we really enjoyed our stay with them.

With the Familie Menzel!
Of course, this photo is at our home, and I will replace it with one from Germany
as soon as I find it.
As I looked through my photos I am missing many
pictures of the people and places we visited.
We also went to the the Freiburg temple,
which is near Dresden.
This is one of Jon's old mission photos -
I know we took some while we were there,
but I can't find them.
Maybe all these photos I'm missing are pictures Jon took
and are on Jonathan's computer!
As you can see, I've included some photos from the internet.
